“It’ll be great!” These were moms last words to me when we chatted about this shoot.
I was nervous, clearly visible nervous. Six kids, cold weather, a fiery 18 month old. Oy. A bit out of my comfort zone to say the least. Mom assured me that she would be thrilled no matter what, she and her sister in law wanted just one picture of the six of them. I took deep breath and dove in. And ya know what? I had a BLAST. A total BLAST. It wasn’t easy, not one bit, the weather and location weren’t ideal, taking pictures of six people in general isn’t easy and when three of those kids are under six it can be a challenge to get real smiles with little cheese but dude, we did it and I’m SO happy we did. What a JOY these kids were, what an absolute JOY. : )

ALL of these kids have THE most amazing eyes I have ever seen and I wasn’t leaving until I got a good shot of each of them… (well minus baby Ryan, he was too busy throwing a fit at the time – it’s ok though, we have lots of his amazing eyes from his one year shoot.) : )
What an awesome way to end the year. Thanks so much guys – for everything. I had a such a great time! : )
